"Sàigòn to Seattle: 50 Years After the War."

On April 29, 2025, I was featured on King 5's New Day to discuss Saigon to Seattle, a public-facing project commemorating the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. This work is the result of a year-long collaboration with Friends of Little Saigon--a local nonprofit.

The project included incorporating research conducted at the Washington State Archives and the Wing Luke Museum, gathering oral history interviews from community members, and culminated in a professionally produced documentary and the publication of an accompanying informational booklet. My contribution to the project was also supported by the UW History Department's 2024 Summer Digital Humanities Scholarship.

More coming soon…

I intend to publish op-eds across various public platforms, launch a podcast and YouTube channel, and deliver public lectures to engage broader audiences and contribute to public discourse.
